  1. I love it! Class never goes out of style and the Ziegfield represents something you just don’t see today. I don’t think we’ll ever have another revue like it. I really like the top photo…I would love to se today’s designers try something like that!

    • I absolutely agree! Some of the photos I came across are still quite (beautifully) shocking especially in the context of their time. There must have been a lot of tongues wagging. I was going a little ga ga over the costumes too. They would have been lovingly produced too, not like today. Thank you for your comment! x

    • Absolutely agree. Actors & actresses don’t seem to have that specialness. It seems every man & his dog is “an actor”. There’s a great quote from Jeff Daniels in Details mag about 25 year olds being paid $10 mill who are unable to hit their mark. There was something special about the oldies!
