      • Somehow, I can’t erase this image. It has been carried with me. She reminds me of Audrey Hepburn although I know it is not her. From there my thoughts go to Audrey and her quote “β€œThe beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.”

      • Absolutely agree. I saw the image in a magazine quite a while ago and I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I had to hunt it down. She seems to have more energy and joy in her than people not even a quarter of her age. It’s a great lesson for us all, no matter who you are or the situation you’re in, look after yourself and engage in the world. I love love that quote, thank you for sharing it. Thank you.

    • I absolutely agree. I honestly think if you try to look younger you actually end up looking older & a little lame. Everyone knows it’s surgery. But if you can look good for your age that’s awesome. Lip injections & fillers stay away from! xx

  1. I love this picture also. It speaks volumes. I am around that age and like to think that I have that same sort of aliveness and beauty that she has πŸ™‚

    • I think the fact you’re even on blogs is a great sign you’re engaged with the world and constantly learning. I’m a big one for learn, learn and learn more no matter what age we’re at! So important! Thank you for your comment πŸ™‚ x
