“Girih (“knot” in Persian) or gereh sazi (“knot making”) is an Islamic decorative art form used in architecture and handicrafts (book covers, tapestry, small metal objects), consisting of geometric lines that form an interlaced strapwork.” Beautiful isn’t it?
